Connection is our highest value and motivation
Hi, I’m Jeremy Minnerick- I started Livestream Love StL to bring people together.
For 15 years as a wedding photographer and filmmaker I’ve focused my work on how “we are all connected” – it’s the tagline of my visual art brand.
This mantra guides my personal life too; I hold the time shared in friendships and family and even the momentary exchanges I have with strangers as my most valuable resource. I have a long habit and practice of bringing people together to have richer experiences.
Why weddings and funerals?
One of the biggest rifts from the COVID-19 pandemic is that we lost so many of our rituals, especially the important ones we imagine sharing with our loved ones. Of course we adapted to the little losses, like sitting in coffee shops or going to concerts. But I noticed the restrictions on gathering for weddings and funerals greatly impacted every kind of person.
I was bummed to see my clients stuck between the difficult decision of having a wedding that excluded significant people, or not having a wedding at all. And in my own family we endured 3 deaths during the “lockdown”, two of which we felt our grief deepened by separation, and the 3rd was actually lightened by sharing and healing together through the technology of livestreaming.
I have personally participated in several heart-centered live streamed events and I know first hand that there’s real chemistry felt in that collective focus and presence.
Hi-Fi is not just quality, it’s reliability too
The technology behind a reliable high-fidelity event livestream service is complicated, and that brings AT- our technology sensei.
AT (Alex Thipkhosithkun) has been livestreaming regularly scheduled programs since 2016, which is about as long as the genre has been around. By the time he started livestreaming weddings he’d already broadcasted 162 live episodes of local St Louis artist features. He’s degreed and worked in IT Management and front end development, not to mention his lifelong wonder for all things tech.
AT’s experience and knowledge and curiosity bring an unmatched reliability to the livestream service we developed, and still he continually offers suggestions about how we can do it even better.
