Who can watch our memorial service?
Your memorial livestream is only viewable with the private link you send out. There’s no restriction on the number of guests you can invite to virtually join you.
Does our venue/site need to provide internet connection?
A high speed internet connection is the easiest and most effective, but as long as there is solid cellular internet service we will broadcast the best quality livestream possible.
What kind of picture and audio quality can our guests expect?
We will be creating a high-definition 1080p video stream with professionally captured audio, and if the internet speed at your service permits then we will broadcast at that quality (else the best quality possible). The audio is generally unaffected by internet speed, it’s only the picture that may be limited to “standard definition” if the available bandwidth is slow.
What is the cost to livestream our funeral/memorial?
The standard fee to professionally livestream your funeral service is $750. You may additionally commission a recorded high-definition video file keepsake, microphone and PA rental (especially helpful for remote or graveside services), additional camera angles and extra audio sources, or add more coverage of supplemental events.
Couldn’t a family member just hold up their phone and go live on Facebook/Instagram/Zoom?
Yes but the viewing experience would suffer, especially the audio (not to mention, that person is not able to be present!).
Think back to any video call you’ve been on, such as Zoom or FaceTime or WhatsApp, and unclear audio makes it frustrating and unenjoyable and impossible to follow what’s happening- so you really miss out. Our professional cameras, microphones, and streaming technology make for an exceptional and reliable viewing experience. And importantly, everyone can be focused on your beloved
And social media or special apps are not required. We’ll host your livestream on a private webpage created especially for your event to eliminate complications and distractions.
